Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many trick or treaters people get in other areas of Cookeville. I am in Brookside in Algood and had enough for 420 and had to shut down at 7 PM as I gave it all out and probably could have given out at least another hundred. So I guess I'll have to up my game next year.

I don't mind participating as I get a kick out of seeing the kids but I am just amazed at the number we get here. When we lived in a similar subdivision in Florida it had dwindled down to maybe ten or so when we left in 2017.

That is awesome! I live way out in the country so I never have any trick or treaters. Friends who live around Capshaw always have a lot of kids come by their house. Same with other friends in neighborhoods like Forest Hills, Green Acres, Darwin Park, Bilbrey Park, Oaklawn, Windrowe. I've heard Hickory Flats is a goldmine for trick or treaters. Considering how many churches have their own trunk-or-treat events, plus the city's trick or treat trail in Dogwood Park, and considering how cold it was last night, I'm pleasantly surprised there are so many kids who still go door to door.

Hickory Flats all the way for my kids. Tons of candy and there were tons of kids last night. Probably the most I've ever seen. It's probably the same in Brookside, but the really nice neighborhoods typically give out a lot of candy per kid and there are a lot of houses that are giving it out. Word spreads more and more every year.
