Maybe, but a lot of people don't even eat dinner until after 8. I just think they'll be losing a lot of business by closing so early. Then again, it isn't my place of employment.
They've prepared a spot for a building at Harden and Senate where Cookout was supposed to be locating. There are no signs at the site, but I've never heard that the plans for the site had changed, so I guess that's still what's going there.

The State Museum has just acquired an impressive ("like no other in the nation") collection of early American telescopes. They will be housed in the new observatory when it's built, but they will be displayed elsewhere temporarily. USC has just acquired over 5,000 astronomy books to be housed in the Ernest Hollings Annex at Thomas Cooper Library. Robert Aerial donated both gifts.
