We'll be waiting for your review of these $8 loaves of bread. Hopefully they were more than 1 lb. loaves.

It was almost a year ago- they were good loaves, but, I'll be honest, not worth $8. They were very large as well! So maybe worth the $8? If you were going to have a party and didn't want the bread to get moldy :P

Default The ViewHouse

Last night my friends and I ate at The ViewHouse, near Woodmen and I-25.

It has been awhile since I've been to a restaurant that felt a little special/unique/fun so I thought I'd mention it.

The food was good and they specialize in locally-sourced ingredients. They had options for GF, vegetarian and vegan as well as the usual fare.

As the name suggests they do have plenty of good views and lots of options for outdoor seating. They also have lots of big TV screens for sports inside.

Something rather unique and fun is that they had cornhole and jenga set up out where people wait to get in (if needed) and also inside on their large patio for people to play and just have a good time.

And the prices were pretty normal/not high. We went during 'happy hour' by chance and it turned out that my food was a few bucks cheaper than I was expecting as a result - what I chose must have had a happy hour special rate since it was an appetizer.

They were pretty busy but we didn't have to wait - but the parking lot was nearly full.
