where is the nicest sandy beach for walking that's closest to Greenville?

asking because I have friends visiting next week.... they are from Iowa and want to see the beach around here. (shockingly, they apparently dont' have beaches in Iowa... I know... right? or is it less shocking than the fact that I have not gone anywhere near the ocean since I moved here 15 years ago? )

It is probably Atlantic Beach. You may have to pay to park, but I am not sure of there rules. It may be early enough in the season that you can find free parking.
