All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree.

A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.

Although I am a typical loner in daily life, my consciousness of belonging to the invisible community of those who strive for truth, beauty, and justice has preserved me from feeling isolated. - Einstein

Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hopes of reward after death. -Einstein

This one doesn't resonate with me.

I find that I am very wealthy when it comes to spiritual things;

And, while I do not have a fear of punishment, I once did have that fear, and it led me to where I am now. And I also have a hope of reward after death; and this makes me to be morally upright and increases my spiritual wealth in that it motivates me to do what is right in the hope of that reward.

The Instructor being practical, not theoretical, His aim is thus to improve the soul, not to teach, and to train it up to a virtuous, not to an intellectual life. - Clement of Alexandria

Disappointment and the "weeping and gnashing of teeth" are more likely to be what you face, JBF, given the anti-Christ Bad News Gospel of hell and damnation that you preach instead of the Good News Gospel of agape love and reconciliation.

Yep! That's exactly the UR way, ignore what He says if you don't like it, and accept what He says if you do like it. Wolves in sheep's clothing!

Take this to that particular thread, and don't forget your sheep's clothing.

You must be deliberately ignoring what I keep saying. No one can be that thick! It is NOT WHAT I LIKE, IT IS WHAT AGREES WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD AS JESUS REVEALED AND UNAMBIGUOUSLY DEMONSTRATED. You are accepting writing as scripture that is NOT from God or Jesus!!!

I don't have to prosecute what one admits! " You are accepting writing as scripture that is NOT from God or Jesus!!!"

You have admitted no faith in scripture! But yet you want us to believe you, not in this world nor the one to come!
