Today (Apr. 16) is Easter for Orthodox Christians. The date is Apr. 3 on the Julian calendar which is in use by some jurisdictions of the Orthodox Church. These include Russia, Serbia, Belarus, Georgia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and parts of Ukraine.

Good Pascha to my Orthodox neighbors.

'Christ is Risen! - Truly He is Risen!'

A special greeting to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters: ZI SV'ATOM VELYKODN'A / PASHKY

"Good Pascha' to my fellow Orthodox Christians.

Today, May 5, is Orthodox Easter. The date is April 22 on the revised Julian Calendar, which is in use by some jurisdictions of the Orthodox Church.

During the Divine Liturgy we will listen to a sermon written by St. John Chrysostom.

'Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!'

And, I want to wish a special greeting to our courageous brothers and sisters in Ukraine: ZI SV'ATOM VELYKODN'A / PASHKY!

Happy Easter in all languages to those who observe today. Not just Orthodox, but Eastern Rite Catholics (late bf was raised in the Ukrainian branch of that church).
