Any open libraries in Chicago other than Chicago Public Libraries? (Evanston: universities, law)

Is there any open libraries (such as university libraries) in Chicago where anyone can enter and bring his laptop and study? There are Chicago Public Libraries literally but I want to find somewhere else.

Their respective websites all have public access policies.

Northwestern in Evanston is open to the public- you just register at their entrance. Free guest wifi.

Harold Washington Library is a great place to study. So many floors and cubicles to find a quiet corner. It's public but I see a ton of people studying or reading there. Newberry library is the only other independent library I know about that's open to the public. I'm pretty sure every university has a library except for online universities. University of Chicago has to have a good one with all the brainiacs there.

DePaul has a library, I think 9th floor of the building at State and Jackson. I can't remember if you need to be a student for WiFi access, but there's tables and cubicles to study at.

It's a block from Harold Washington though, so you might as well just go there.

UIC's Daley (main) and Health libraries are open to the public most of the time; the Marshall law library isn't. Similarly, I bet NEIU's libraries are public.

At UChicago, only Crerar (the science library) is open to the public and only during the day; that was a stipulation of John Crerar's will. The principal Regenstein library requires a university ID; YMMV at other locations -- I don't recall ever swiping in at the math library, for instance.

Anyone can get a reader card at the lovely Newberry Library, which is only open during the workday.
