Shops at Kanawha growing, could expand (Charleston: 2013, restaurants, shopping center)

Development company looks to expand revamped Shops at Kanawha* - Business - Charleston Daily Mail - West Virginia News and Sports -

The shopping center in Kanawha City which used to struggle to get stores and restaurants is now 95% occupied with several businesses interested in filling those out. The owners hope to now focus on making their property more attractive by making a better entrance into the mall, and adding better lighting. They are optimistic about attracting new restaurants and stores, and mentioned possible business on the lot beside Applebees. Most recent business is a new Firehouse Subs which I believe is the second location in the city. This is great news!

It has been a while since i have been down to that part of Kanawha City, maybe 6 months? Glad to hear that area is bouncing back. Last time i was down that way Fujiyama was still pretty new.
