If there was a female version of Mr. Rogers, then I might consider it.

Any tough female. I love strong women. If there is any possibility for me to get a whooping then I’m there. Sarah Conner terminator is right up my alley.

Someone pushed me... Jessica Chastain seems like wife material (smart, stable/steady, attractive, and so on) - I just don't like talking about that much, between her status as a stranger I've only watched a little on screen who actually is married and that being a cool-headed assessment more than enthusiasm from me. By Hollywood standards, she's a stolid type.

Lisa Whelchel (I actually met her once back in the 80s while I was dating a friend of a friend of hers). Probably wouldn't work out though...I'm agnostic.

I agree with Scarabchuck about Jennifer Lawrence.

If this thread continues, I prefer answers with some explanation over lists that I automatically tie to superficial traits.

Physical attraction is going to be the most common reason, and it definitely is something to consider in a mate.

It's hard to know much about the personality of someone you have never met. We're pretty much limited to people we have seen on the TV talk shows, and the few minutes they have told stories about themselves. For me, it comes mostly from the guests on the Graham Norton show, and I definitely felt like I would get along well with Saoirse Ronan.

Physical attraction matters, but it's not supposed to lead to anything long-lasting without personality factors and more. I think we can ascertain plenty about many celebrities. For example, high-IQ parts in serious films probably nearly always go with real-life intelligence. Actors with degrees in their craft have relatively high IQs, I think. Also, if a celebrity is doing the talk show rounds, he or she probably is a rather sociable person, and I think whether someone is jokey or goofy comes across reliably in public in an extravert. Furthermore, those who are personally very active on social media will show the world what they're like.
