Pancreatic was my thought too. That's a stealthy deadly one. I lost my mother to it.

Oh darn. Just noticed the Madonna thread. My post now sounds like I'm being passive-aggressive or something. Sorry Roselvr!

Yeah. I liked her character way better than Shelley Long. I couldn't watch that show until she left. No shade on Long. I know the character was supposed to be annoying, I just couldn't stomach it.

I recall reading an interview with Ted Danson, who was the lead actor in "Cheers."

In this interview, he described Kirstie Alley as a 'combination Earth Mother and Biker Chick.'

So true.

LOL

RIP, Kirstie.

Stunned

On one hand early seventies IS kind of young to pass in this day and age. On the other if a surprise at least she didn't have to spend her final years, months in a hospital or medical system. I know, knew too many that spent their final years and months in a hospital and that's not a away to go.

Stuned, shocked, saddened

Yeah; I think once you hit 70, you're too old to die "tragically young."

RIP.

I admired her acceptance of her larger body as she aged.

RIP. 70 is far too young. She was spunky and someone who I thought had a lot of life left.
