Whole Foods so far will be joined by Chicken Salad Chick, Miller's Ale House and Another Broken Egg Cafe at The Crossings at Viera on the SE corner of I-95 and Viera Boulevard.

That's great news! I used to live in Viera/Rockledge 8 years ago, it was a great place to live!

I probably won't drive that far for groceries; but the ale house coming to this area is a plus for us.

Another Broken Egg is a great place for brunch, 7 days a week!

I still would rather have a Traders Joes closer, than a Whole Foods. When living in NY, we had both options close by and rarely if ever did we go Whole Foods. There prices were terrible for what you got. But I know many that like it for their selections of organic and healthy products.
I know Merritt Island retail has been slowly dying. There are sadly so many vavancies, especially after the big car dealerships moved west towards 95. It really is sad. You would think commercial real estate would be a great deal here and attract some names to open, but the opposite seems to be the trend. Very sad.

Having lived in areas over the years that started out lacking, I can tell you when Whole Foods commits others will jump in. Their extensive research for new locations isn't taken lightly by other retailers and would heavily bet Trader Joe's will not be far behind as well as other highly desirable brands.

Fingers Crossed that happens. We had our chance some years ago for Trader Joe's in Merritt Island. That deal was blown when no one wanted to foot the bill for new roof support for new refrigeration that was needed. That would have been awesome to have that close by. At this point, Viera would work as well.

Funny that I just stumbled upon this thread. I've been searching for Traders Joe frozen foods in Melbourne. I'm learning that Trader's Joe has discontinued its products.

Amazon owns Whole Foods and delivers their products so you might be able to get them delivered. Don't forget everyone, when Whole Foods comes to your neighborhood you get discounts on sale items when you show your Amazon Prime membership app on your phone to the cashier.

You seem confused....Trader Joe's products are only sold at Trader Joe's. Given the lack of a Trader Joe's in Melbourne, you won't find any there and are not in fact "discontinued".
