Welcome to The Official Minnesota Timberwolves Thread!

I'm excited to watch the Timberwolves this year. They just might have a chance of making it to the playoffs! I think the last time the Timberwolves made it to the playoffs was back in 2004. Anyway, I hope I'm not the only Timberwolves fan here.

Gotta stay positive! We got KAT and Wiggins. Then again, I never really liked Wiggins and that we should of traded him for something better. Anyway, I'm excited for the Timberwolves this year!

yeah, well we do have Kat

makes one long for the days of Bill Mussleman and Poo Richardson

in the '91/'92 season the wolves finished with the worst record in the league by 6 games and ended up with the 3rd pick in the draft and selected Christian Laettner. Orlando and Charlotte jumping ahead of them, took Shaquille O'Neal and Alonzo Mourning, things have been mostly following that direction ever since.

props to anyone that can muster any enthusiasm

personally, I think Harv and Marv built Target Center on some ancient burial ground with really bad mo-jo

the only answer is to build a new arena across the block

De'Aaron Fox scored 22 for the Kings, putting back the rebound of his intentionally missed free throw as part of a 33-11 run over the final 5:42 of regulation. Sacramento trailed by 17 with 2:49 left. According to ESPN Stats and Info, entering Monday, NBA teams were 0-8,378 since 1996-97 when trailing by 17 or more in the final 3 minutes of the fourth quarter or overtime.

You cannot lose that big of a lead in such a short time if you weren't totally dogging it on defense.

Holy crap they got fleeced. That’s a package you give up for a Durant, not Rudy freaking Gobert.

When I saw the headline I was really excited for them, especially that they kept KAT and Anthony Edwards. Then I saw what they gave up, and thought they have to be crazy!!

Yeah 4 picks is a bit much, but how valuable are NBA draft picks if you are not picking in the top 10? And these wolves are not going to be bad enough to get draft picks that high. So ultimately it just might work out that Utah gets fleeced instead
