I have bummed all over the U.S. and continue to find the Arkansas Ouachita Mountains my favorite place. Attached is a view in Montgomery County. We were doing an archeology survey of a bulldozed fire line around the "No Man's Land Wildfire" and this is the area we were working in.

This isolated grave is out in the boonies of east Pike County. The tall stone on the right is the head stone and crudely hand engraved into it is; NATHAN W. PHILIPS - BO. SEP 25 1851 - DIED - AUG 16 1867. We often worry about how many more like this are out there that we have not yet found.
