Saw that central Arkansas got hit with tornadoes. How far north did they reach? News focuses on Little Rock. Any tornadoes in the areas of Beebe, Des Arc, or Searcy?

You might be able to find out more about those places tomorrow.

Actually, do you have Facebook? Search by "town, Arkansas". Looks like Searcy took some kind of hit.

Did as you said and did see tornado damage in Searcy. My ex-wife’s family lives in the areas I listed. It’s easier to get along with the ex in-laws when you live in different states. I’ve already sent them private messages but haven’t heard back yet. Don’t want to call in case the phone system is loaded with emergencies.

Daily Mail has a bunch of pictures. I used to live there. I don't recognize a lot of that. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...mph-winds.html

Just checked the Air Force base and the base itself didn’t receive any damage. They’ve set up centers for any Air Force service members hit by the tornado. Hopefully they’re able to mobilize people and equipment to help out with the search as well as providing food and shelter materials to those who lost their homes.

Still haven’t heard back from ex in-laws.

Got message from ex in-laws. They didn’t get hit directly. No storm damage to their homes.

Good deal!

We've accounted for our people too. I used to live there. I'm looking at all of these pictures in amazement because I don't recognize anything.

I'm not in Arkansas, but I pay attention to what goes on there because I love the state and the people.
I listened to the Litte Rock police feed on Broadcastify and watched the KATV live yesterday. The police were extremely organized and coordinated. I was very impressed.
West and North LR got hit bad as did Wynne.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

This is not Little Rock's first tornado. It seems to get hit every few years. The police have probably had quite a bit of experience. I helped a coworker clean out their house in Southwest LR after it got destroyed in (I believe) 1997. The clean up was pretty organized. It's a ton of work. Another coworker in downtown LR got hit a few years later. There was less damage I'm told. This tornado is the worst one I have heard about.

There's a lot of thought and prayers for all affected by the tornado from all of us from the Dec. 10, 2021 tornado that just about wiped out our town in western Ky.
