Agreed. The type of people who usually go into government do so because they want power and control. They will corrupt and manipulate these technologies to further their political and ideological agendas, and silence wrong think.

Just look at what government did with COVID. They corrupted and manipulated social media to silence all opposing ideas and opinions, to only allow their views, and their agendas to be heard.

Anon posts with avatars emote inner feelings to the world. we know what everyone is thinking.

Prior to that there was Madison avenue who used psychology to direct thought

Any technology has the potential for abuse and know it well, it will be abused!
