Observed a direct connection between a PVC pipe and the drain bowl at the drive through beverage station. The PVC pipe was directly connected to the drain bowl by a plastic cup with the bottom cut out of it. Remove plastic cup so there is not a direct connection between the PVC pipe and the drain bowl. Maintain an air gap of 1.5 times the width of the PVC pipe between the PVC pipe and the drain bowl. , Corrected: Food service employee removed the cup that directly connected the PVC pipe and the drain bowl. There is now a sufficient air gap of approximately 2 inches between the PVC pipe and the drain bowl.
