  • Customer self-service bags of ice not labeled with manufacturer's information such as name and address of store. Ensure bags are properly labeled with the name and address of store before selling.
  • Surface of beverage cans where the mouth goes is submerged in ice water bath. Ensure that if cans will be stored in ice for long enough periods of time for ice to melt, that cans are standing up and that surface of cans are not submerged.
  • No hot water found in any sink throughout establishment. Ensure issue is resolved by follow up inspection. Manager stated they kept the hot water shut off due to a leak in the water heater.
  • Air gap needed between drain sink and water line descending from 3 compartment sink. Ensure air gap is at least two times the diameter of the pipe. Example: A pipe with a one inch diameter will need a two inch diameter.
  • Black mold found in ice machine. Ensure ice machine is properly cleaned and sanitized to prevent mold growth.
