Sebastian “Seb” Frey is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Realtor® serving the greater Silicon Valley area, focusing particular on “Silicon Beach” - the coastal communities of Santa Cruz county, about 30-45 minutes south of Silicon Valley itself.
Seb is proud to be the Broker Owner of Realty World Virtuoso. A California native, he was born in Oakland and grew up in Berkeley. As a child growing up, his family would frequently come to visit Santa Cruz and his connection with the area is deep and long-nurtured.
In the fall after graduating high school, he left home and headed south, to attend the University of California at Santa Cruz. While attending the University, Seb lived most of that time in the family vacation home perched on a cliff over Seacliff Beach in Aptos. As the years passed, he became increasingly involved in the community and his love of the area grew.
After living more than five years in Aptos, he left for another four years to pursue a career in Information Technology. During this time Seb lived in various exotic locations such as Oregon, Alaska, Malaysia, and Belgium. But Santa Cruz and the Bay Area lingered in his blood; he returned in 1997, and aside from various trips abroad for business and pleasure, he hasn’t left since.
Many of Seb’s trips were to Latin America, and all those years of Spanish classes paid handsome dividends, as Seb found it easy to communicate with the locals as he traveled in the region. In fact, in 2005 Seb attended an immersive Spanish language school in Lima, Peru where he ended up meeting a woman who he would later marry, and with whom he now has two amazing sons. Seb is completely fluent in Spanish which helps him connect and communicate with many buyers and sellers alike.
Seb got his real estate salesperson’s license in 2003, and since then he has continued to educate himself and improve his skills. In 2005, Seb obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license, and Seb also holds a number of Realtor designations, including GRI, CRS, and e-Pro. In 2013 Seb became the Broker Owner of Realty World Virtuoso, along with his wife, Rocio Llontop, who serves as President and CEO of the organization.
