To begin the process you will complete a confidential questionnaire. Then schedule a meeting with a Certified Financial Planner™ for an initial consultation. If you decide to work together, documents are requested such as brokerage & retirement plan statements, loan/credit card statements, wills, trusts, pay stubs, tax returns and insurance policies. The information is analyzed and at the next meeting a financial plan is presented with recommendations. You can choose to implement the recommendations on your own or ask the planner for help. Then the plan should be updated every 6 months to a year depending on your goals and life changes.
