- Foundations is a nationally accredited child care center, preschool, elementary school, and middle school located in Kennesaw, GA. Our educational philosophy is focused on brain-based best practices for learning, and our facility was designed to enhance the learning experience. Students engage in hands-on activities based on their interests to instead of rote-memorization or preplanned generic curriculum. The activities are tailored to the students in each classroom, with qualified teachers making sure that each student's goals and objectives are met. In the preschool, early childhood education and care are given by dedicating, nurturing teachers, in a very low ratio environment (1 teacher to every 4 children). Foundations has two buildings--a child care building, and a school/gym building. The gymnasium is used by the preschool students as well as the Pre-K and Elementary. It includes a multi-sport court, an inground trampoline, a foam pit, a spring floor, and a rock climbing wall. The children have access to recess time in the gym, as well as one of our five outdoor areas, including two covered areas for outdoor play on inclement weather days, so they can always be active.
