- About Scentsy Fragrance Scentsy Fragrance is a direct selling company and international leader in fragrance, offering a variety of home and personal fragrance products. The simplicity and value of its flagship product, scented, wickless candles heated in decorative ceramic warmers, provides a better alternative to burning wicked candles. Scentsy Fragrance products are sold through a network of Independent Consultants running home-based businesses throughout North America, Europe, and Australia. My Story My story is simple. In 1965 I was in a house fire. It was not due to a candle, but has always left a fear in me about my home catching on fire. Scentsy eliminates that fear for me. Also as I get older and if I should forget to turn it off while running an errand I know it will be safe. I work in the Property Tax field with an International Company. On my down time I enjoy: family, shopping, crafts, baking, movies and music. My involvement with Scentsy start over a year ago as a customer. I had tired Scentsy and then went to a few off brands and I found the materials used were not of the quality that Scentsy produces. Therefore, I continued to go back with Scentsy. I wouldn't put my name on a product that I didn't feel confident in its quality and positive reputation. It is a known fact that scents stimulate nerves in the nose. Those nerves send impulses to the part of the brain that controls memory and emotion. Those scents are thought to interact with the body's hormones and enzymes to cause changes in blood pressure, pulse, and other body functions. It is thought that some scents may stimulate the body to produce pain fighting substances, hence the name Scentherapy.
