Family Birth Services is a Birth Center. I am a Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed in the state of Montana. The birth center is located 1 block from the hospital, it has 2 spacious birth rooms and 2 full bathrooms. I have a birth tub and a comfortable homey atmosphere.
Our goal is to help you have your birth you want it to be. By helping your make informed choices with education. We focus on prevention of problems, but have great doctor back up in the case that higher risk issues arise.
Prenatals last an average of 45 min -1 hour, as we not only take time for vitals, but also visit about staying healthy, preparation for birth physically and emotionally. We build a relationship so you end up birthing with friends. Home or birth center births, the choice is up to you.

My Experience and Qualifications:
After attending Midwifery school in Texas, I passed the national boards in July of 2003 to gain my certification as a certified professional Midwife.
I have participated in over 180 births as primary care giver, assistant, or labor coach.
I have 11 children of my own. Six of my children were born in the hospital and five at home. Having a large family myself has given me an unusual amount of personal experience very helpful in midwifery.
Practice and Cost:
As a midwife or labor coach, our practice is dedicated to educating you about pregnancy and birth. We provide initial consultations without charge to establish a relationship and to allow you to ask all the questions you want.
I believe the family should have every opportunity to make informed decisions regarding their birth. Since childbirth it is an experience that is only gone through a limited number of times in a person’s life, I would like to help you have the experience that you desire.
Insurance accepted and payment plans available.
For homebirth or birth center complete care:
Cash discount price of $2300 if paid in full before expected due date. Lab and Sonograms billed separate.
Doula service $350
Extra classes usually $10 per class
