Description:
For over 40 years, CRH Heating & Air has been the go-to heating, cooling and kitchen equipment company for the entire Harrisburg Metro area, including Hershey, Middletown, Carlisle, and more. In 1971 Dave Unger, Bob Witmer, Frank Witmer, John Funt, and Clair Gruver started Commercial Refrigeration of Harrisburg PA working out of a 1,000 sq ft building and operating with a pickup truck and two services vans. Shortly thereafter they purchased a property just down the street and constructed a 3,000 square foot shop and office.
Steve Lenkevich started to work in 1977 just out of high school and became a partner in 1981 as the company grew and the founding owners retired. In 1996 the last of the partners left Steve with control of the company. In 2007, Commercial Refrigeration moved to its current office building on the same property and is using the original building as a shop and storage.
Commercial Refrigeration has expanded its services to include hot food cooking service and replacement, plus commercial and residential heating and cooling.
