- Skyview Ranch was established with one goal in mind: to serve area churches by giving children a place to go during the summer for an amazing outdoor experience. What was once a rural escape for members of the Cleveland Browns became a center for children to come camping for a month during the summer of 1969. Skyview has since grown from it's humble beginnings. It is now a camp that serves thousands of summer campers along with retreat groups and churches. Tucked away on 270+ acres of hills and forests, Skyview offers the best of Holmes County to anyone from church youth groups to corporate business teams who want to get away from the noise of life. Aside from the beauty of nature, Skyview also offers a variety of services to give our campers the best experience possible. With over 25 horses and miles of riding trails, we offer beautiful rides through the country that make for a great outdoor experience. We also have a set of high ropes elements including a Climbing Wall, a Giant Swing, a 1,200-foot Zip Line and a Dengle Duo. If our adventure courses leave you hungry, we have a top-of-the-line dining facility and an excellent cook to match to bring you food that is unmatched in outdoor adventure. Aside from these services, we offer riflery, archery, minigolf, paintball, swimming and a lake with activities like "The Blob" and a water trampoline. For overnight stays we have a great selection of cabins--rustic cabins for the more rugged camper or our new Frontier Cabin for those who want a home away from home. We also have space and attachments for recreational vehicles for those who want to travel in style.
