- Taste of Catalina Food Tours currently offers the Avalon Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour. Stroll through downtown Avalon like a local and savor the flavors that Catalina Island offers. Encounter unique cultural, architectural and historical insights while tasting a variety of flavors from our favorite restaurants & unique eateries by the bay for $79. During this 3 hour tour, our enthusiastic guides provide a peek into our town like no other. Our tour meets at the planter, directly across from Steve's Steakhouse, on Crescent Avenue (Front Street). The planter is half way in between the Wrigley Stage and the Green Pleasure Pier. We are the one and only food tour in Avalon, located on Santa Catalina Island. We have been in operation since the Fall of 2012 and look forward to welcoming you to our little slice of paradise.
