• The Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church/Helena,Georgia Affectioanately known as the "MAC" Greater Macedonia Pastoral Shepard, Rev. Elgin L. Dixon (Neal), was chosen by God to be the Shepard over His flock. His wife, Lady Terri C. Dixon, accompanies him, to Macedonia. They were led to seek a church not bound by tradition, but on firmly anchored in, God's word. Our conviction became "Reacbing Up to God, While Reaching Out to Others". Pastor Dixon is also a community leader sought after by many authority. Yet, he serves with a humility that embraces "the least of these." In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Dixon's been given the visionary foresight to develop ministries that serve outside the four walls of the church. Macedonia is on the move; currently the establishing ministries to serve the needs of members and the community. As an example, Food Closet to fed the hungry, Clothes Closet to warm anyone in need of clothing. Nonprofit entities are also being formed to empower the community such as child development center. Community enterprises will establish soon after, like foster care, and other residential services from Greater Macedonias Nehemiah Project. Pastor Dixon, submits to the will of the Lord, by his hosting a collaboration of ministries presented to the community, structured and dedicated to improving the lives, and thus the economic living conditions of the community-at-large the Flock will prosper, the Kingdom will grow and the Mission will have been accomplished.
