Randy Reis is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, then seasoned as an adult in Manhattan. At a young age Randy was drawn to the floor of the American Stock Exchange and was captivated immediately by the fast pace and ever-changing market. As an athlete, the physicality of trading in the pits, combined with his ability to process mathematical information quickly, and then act on it before other trades competing with him was a natural fit. He was soon one of the youngest seat holders at the exchange at age 22 and within a few years he founded Philanna Capital, his own option market making firm, where he and his team of traders traded in some of the busiest option pits in the world.
As the trading pits disappeared due to the advent of electronic trading and a way of life loved by all who worked on those floors melted away, Randy seamlessly migrated toward real estate. Having been a coop owner and a landlord of a number of rental units, it was a natural progression. After spending a few years with each with Corcoran and Elliman, he decided to come to Keller Williams where the entrepreneurial spirit runs free!

Aside from work, he is just as committed as a father raising his 14 year old daughter. Age Group National Championship on platform. Though his busy schedule provides a minimum of freedom, Randy still finds time to play basketball weekly with his long time “crew” at a downtown gym. In fact all clients are invited to his weekly game in the city. He has in the past skied competitively for the American Stock Exchange and also boxed for a number of years charity with the Wall Street Charity Fund.
