Bikers Against Child Abuse, Inc. is an international non-profit volunteer organization. We exist to re-empower the young victims of abuse. The organization was founded by a child therapist some 12 years ago and is open to all bikers and all bikes provided that the rider passes a background check. We work in conjunction with agencies, therapists, law enforcement, families, caregivers and courts. We meet monthly in a central location, ride frequently both socially and for community awareness around the county. Presently the Alameda County chapter is bridging the Bay Area serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin counties. Chapters are forming locally in Petaluma, Modesto, San Jose. The organization was featured in a PBS special (Mystery of Love) and further information is available on the internet. We are a community resource available to children and families with child abuse cases already in the system. NO CHILD SHOULD LIVE IN FEAR.
