The most accessible airports are in Greensboro and Charlotte, NC. We are about equidistant to Washington, DC, Nashville, TN, and Atlanta, GA, each about a 6-hour drive. The two partners are Chris Reynolds and Annette Evans. Chris is the builder, and has been building for fourteen years. Annette is the real estate broker, and she teaches construction and real estate classes at the local community college. Annette has been involved in real estate for twelve years. We started in Florida, and moved to the mountains in 1999. We not only buy and sell properties of our own, we also act as sellers' and buyers' agents for others' real estate sales. We have earned a good reputation for the quality of the designs and craftmanship in our homes. Our homes have a distinct "mountain-y" style, and they are usually in the $250,000-350,000 range. Many of them have great mountain views. We are a small local firm with a real stake in our clients' satisfaction. We use only a select few subcontractors whom we trust, and we do not have agents working for us. We deal with only a few properties at a time so that each client gets the benefit of our experience and attention. For example, we had four properties advertised in the recent Alleghany County real estate guide. Most of the other brokers have more than we have time to count. 90% of our clients are in the retirement and second home market. However, we have helped a few of our local friends purchase property who are here fulltime. The main reason our clients have chosen us is because they love the homes we build.
