  • Description:
  • Hello my name is Lauren Williams. I am a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a BA in Interior Design. I am have accumulated over 2,000 design hours my goals within the next 6 months is to be eligible to get ASID certified. I launched Dubs Designs in spring of 08. Dubs designs short for Designs Unbounded. I have many talents and I offer several services. Staging to sale, “deCluttering”, Client Packages (which help you get organized), List of Contacts and Contractors, Window treatments, Event Planning, Photography, Auctioning, Web Projects. My three general areas of design study: residential, commercial, and landscape design. As a design professional my duties are to improve the quality of life, increase productivity, and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. My best interest is always in the client and my pledge: · Analyze clients' and users' needs, goals, and life and safety requirements. · Formulate design concepts into options that are aesthetically pleasing, Appropriate, functional, and present recommendations to the clients. · Create 3D or working drawings, renderings, and specifications for interior construction materials, finishes, space planning, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. Provide solutions that are environmentally friendly. Work within a set budget. · Integrate barrier free design and elements to enhance the health and safety of the occupants of the space. Collaborate with other professional services and licensed practitioners in the technical areas of construction. · Prepare and administer bids and contracts documents as the client's agent. Review and evaluate design solutions from implementation through completion What is the difference between an Interior Designer and Interior Decorator? Interior Designers have a degree in Design, they practice design concepts, and often obtain their license after so many required design hours. An Interior Decorator does not have a design degree, but is creative and has good taste and skill. Just as Joe the plumber would charge a fee for his services. I charge a fee for: consultations, work in drawings, ideas for all designing needs. All referrals receive 20% OFF their first billing cycle. All contracts are subject to change if additional services are needed. I am always in the best interest of my clients; we can save money and explore many options. http://dubsdesigns.yolasite.com
