We will provide quality Martial Arts Instruction for adult men and women in all our programs. We will teach our programs with honor and integrity. We will keep the traditional values of the Martial Arts, but utilize the modern teaching techniques to give the individual the best training that they can get. We promise to hold the value of what it means to earn and receive a Belt Rank. We will represent the true meaning of a Black Belt. We will provide our Martial Arts Programs as a lifestyle, not an activity, for complete physical and spiritual health. We are a Black Belt School.
Our purpose with Golden Dragon Jeet Kune Do is to help people protect themselves and their loved ones. To improve people’s lives by empowering them, ridding them of the victim mentality and offering them researched behavioral tactics that are applicable to any confrontation whether violent or nonviolent in nature. Golden Dragon Jeet Kune Do also promotes health, fitness, peace of mind, self-confidence and a positive outlook on life.
Our primary directive is enhancing your survivability. Golden Dragon Jeet Kune Do realistically addresses the physical as well as the much often-neglected psychological and emotional components of violent confrontations. Principles are based on natural patterns of psychological & physical defenses, as well as human behavior in relation to extreme violence, aggression, desperation, drugs and alcohol.
The physical portions of Golden Dragon Jeet Kune Do training regimen are kept simple, direct and effective. The skills are quickly learned and never forgotten since we use the natural reflexive response mechanism as a starting point and abide by the physiological rules that govern the human body. This includes the understanding of primary and secondary targets as well the physical tools used in conjunction with natural stances and responses to be applied regardless of the situation and its environment.
With over 30 years of experience and research on performance enhancement psychology, criminal psychology and human behavior I have discovered that stress and fear caused by unpredictable confrontations predominantly afflicts an individual’s performance due to lack of information on the given subject and or situation.
Golden Dragon Jeet Kune Do will demystify many myths surrounding the martial arts. It will redefine your beliefs. It will unlock your potential and enhance your chances of survivability. The primary concern is avoidance. The second is de-escalation, the third if the first two fail, is protective offense.
