I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who has had a private practice in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland since 1985.
It has been my privilege to help my clients through the rough times in their lives. Some clients come to me for short-term therapy to resolve specific problems; some come for long-term therapy; and others come to see me periodically over the course of their lives when they need help.
I believe that success in therapy is determined primarily by:
- A safe, caring, professional relationship between the client and the therapist.
- The client's motivation and desire to change.
- The skill, knowledge, and sensitivity of the therapist.

My office is very close to Rockridge BART, bus lines, and freeways. It is wheelchair accessible, and there is plenty of parking nearby.
I reserve some reduced fee hours so that people without insurance coverage for therapy can afford to see an experienced, licensed, therapist.
