Little Scoops is a Private Party Place. We hold only one party at a time. Each party now last two hours. We take care of the setup, cleanup, entertainment, pizza, beverages and ice cream sundaes. The children make their sundaes with about 12 different toppings in our retro 50's ice cream parlor. The parlor is modified for kids... the stools are 18 inches high and the bar is 24 inches tall. Our jukebox is 4 feet high as well.
The back space is our celebration room where most of our activities and entertainment take place. We have a disco ball and sound activated lights that move to the base of the music. When the children are dancing we turn down the main lights and put on the party lights. They are led by two coordinators in classic party dances and games. We use hula hoops, musical instruments, a karoake system, bean bags, and pararchutes. The children are envolved in organized entertainment for approximately 45 minutes and then they sit down and have pizza and a beverage. After the children are finished eating they are engaged in additional acitivies and then they are escorted up to the ice cream parolor. That is where they make thier sundaes and sing "Happy Birthday" in the traditonal sense with a candle in the birthday child's sundae. The children are asked to sign the Little Scoops t-shirt, which will be sent home as a memento. As the Party comes to a close we then ask that your distribute your favors/goody bags and thank your guest for coming to our child's special day. We will have child's gifts bagged and ready for your upon departure. Before the birthday child leaves we will put his/her handprint on our birthday memory wall space.
