Dwayne's Lakeshore Market is a independantly and locally owned old fashioned store. The market is open seven days a week with hours Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. til 8 p.m. and Sunday Noon til 6 p.m. It's reminiscent of small community stores before the advent of modern convenience stores and mega grocery stores. We offer hard to find nostalgic items such as hand made candies featuring peanut brittle, soft peppermint sticks and old fashioned taffy and the extremely popular chocolate and vanilla coconut bon bons. Our most popular items include the preserves and pickled items from Tennessee's Best Company, another family owned business in Tennessee.
It is our goal to provide a place to stop and pick up the proverbial "milk and bread" without charging the over priced convenient store prices. When you come into Dwayne's Lakeshore Market, you'll feel welcome to either "get it and go" or sit on the front porch and visit for as long as you like.
We are currently planning the much anticipated addition of a kitchen and deli to our store. Fresh biscuits and other breakfast items will be available. We will also feature guality meats and cheeses from a well established Amish producer not available anywhere else in Chattanooga.
We are located on Harrison Pike off Highway 58 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. From Hwy 58 turn onto Champion Road toward Booker T. Washington State Park. Champion Road becomes Harrison Pike. The store is on the left exactly two miles from Hwy 58.
