Carmen Quartararo has developed a signature style during her years as President & Chief Executive Designer of her firm, BPL Design Group. Key to her style is a very concise design philosophy – which is to embrace life to the fullest, decorate meticulously, entertain with flair, and never let ego interfere with design aesthetics. Carmen draws her inspiration from extensive world travels, history, and classy women of style. She attributes her East Coast heritage to her down-to-earth approach to both her professional and personal life.
During the span of her interior design career, Carmen has collaborated with celebrities and high-end clientele throughout the United States and abroad. She has been selected as a featured designer in six National Showcase House events. She has been featured extensively in national publications, television, and radio shows. Carmen has received numerous awards for her design work. In 2012, Carmen received the Woman of the Year Award from the National Association of Professional Women for excellence in her field. She was also presented with the Outstanding Exhibitor Award by the Los Angeles Mart in 2006, for the premiere of her exclusive furniture line, The Daniele Collection. Carmen and BPL were also recognized by LA Magazine as having one of the top 100 showrooms in California.
Carmen’s most important work is her family, and mothering three young boys is her joy. She has been involved with numerous charities throughout the past years, ranging from City of Hope and Cedars Sinai Sports Spectacular to Children’s Hospital LA and Camp Ronald McDonald. Carmen believes in community service and philanthropic endeavors.
Carmen Quartararo is an affiliate member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the International Furniture & Design Association (IFDA), and a legacy member of the National Association of Professional Women. She, along with her businesses BPL Design Group, Nite Nite Moon, and Lily Mae’s, are members of the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
