• My wife and I originally planned to open a bird store here in Salem. Before we opened our daughter said we should expand our offering to include other pets (rodents). From there we grew to include reptiles (which I originally said I didn't want to carry). We originally were not going to carry fish because we did not believe we could compete with Wal-Mart but decided that we would try it since we had some customers requesting that we start carrying fish. We are a pet Store. We sell amphibians, birds (finches up to Macaws), fish, reptiles (alligators, snakes, bearded and water dragons), rodents (ferrets, pet rats and mice, bunnies, guinea pigs), other animals (tarantulas, scorpions), and supplies for all of the animals that we sell. These items include clothing, food, cages (including fish tanks), toys, lighting, dog and cat supplies, and many speciality items. If we don't have an item the customer need only ask and we will see if we can find it for them. We also offer pet grooming for various pets. We are located across from the Dent County Court House (on the square) on Highway 19 north. Highway 19 is Main Street in the city of Salem.
