- New York City based Master Decorative Painting, Faux finishing and Finish restoration Artist studio. For over two decades our studio of Speciality Painters and Decorative Artists has created painted surface treatments for some of the finest residences in USA. Painting commissions are accepted in New York metropolitan area, through United States and abroad. Services: - Research information of historic or contemporary finish design. - Designing custom patterns and color combinations. - Designing a prototype finishes samples, based on research results, clients plans and budget projections. - Production of the finish on location. - Production of the finish in our studio and its installation on location. Finishes: We carry several decorative painted and faux finishes that are unique to our studio and are not available in stores or elsewhere. This custom finishes are created from scratch by mixing selected raw materials, in our own recepies followed by our unique application techniques. For creation of other decorative painted treatments we use general painting techniques such are hand paint, spray paint, compounding, stencil, gold leaf, antiquing and patination on a variety of indoor surfaces such as but not limited to: walls, ceilings, floors, millwork, furniture, picture and mirror frames, ornamental plasters, papers, textiles, glass and other solid surface materials accepting paint. Faux finishes: - Faux bois, including faux marquetry inlays, to match a variety of woods. - Faux marble and sand stone to match. - Faux shagreen and crushed goat skin in custom colors. - Faux tortoise shell, bull horn and ivory inlays. Textured paint finishes: -Seamless texture finish; no seems visible. -Panel texture finish; seems between panels are visible. Textured pattern finishes: -Multicolor multilayer Graffito technique. Venetian Plaster finishes. Painted finishes: -Closely resemble iron, pewter, cast brass and bronze. -Smooth high gloss clear coats over glazed, solid and metallic colors. -Polychrome decorations. Architectural ornamental gold leafing and gilding. Antiquing distressing and patination of painted and metal surfaces. Reverse glass painting. Production of the limited edition of custom hand painted wallpapers and textiles.
