• Excellent optometric care in downtown Sacramento. Dr. Adair and his dedicated staff have been providing full service optometry in downtown Sacramento since 1993. Recently we have relocated to our current location on 12th Street between J & K, next to the Wells Fargo ATM. Our services include comprehensive dilated eye examinations, emergency eye care and referrals, and fitting of all contact lens types. We place an emphasis on maintaining eye health and disease prevention. The contact lens materials we use are primarily the newer and more breathable lenses, which promote long term health. We also fit breathable toric contact lenses for astigmatism and multifocal contacts, as well as single use Dailies contacts. We have an extensive display of designer frames and use the most advanced lens materials; including the latest multi-layer anti-reflective coatings. For our patients who need bi-focals, we recommend progressive addition lenses (PALs). These lenses provide exceptional vision at all distances: driving, computers, and reading. Most of our patients walk to our office from their work. Limited metered street parking is available on J Street. A few public parking garages are within walking distance. Please call for directions.
