I started my business life in 1969, when a building in Audubon came up for sale. The intention was to establish in Lake Park, but it did not work out. That was the beginning of JCS Cabinets. Things went very well those first years, and buying something else was looking better all the time. A parcel of property became available, and it became mine. 80 acres of land that has 45 acres developed into builing lots with, my personal attention. Than another parcel was available in the city of Audubon. That also became mine. 10 acres of open field that became Sunshine Addition. There is only 2 lots remaining to be sold. The original land purchase made is now called Viewland Additions, with all the lots available for sale. 35 of these are with curb and gutter, tarred streets, and curb stops for water and sewer. The development is very close to a four lane highway, with access from two directions. There currently is one house in the development, which is my son Darcy Savig's Home, with 4 grandboys and a wife, Jennifer. They are now running JCS Cabinets, which I enjoy very much.
