I ascribe to a model of care that does take into consideration the whole person. Each injury, especially when chronic (meaning you have had it for more than a month) will have a physical component, a chemical component and a mental component... An acute injury must also have these things taken into account so that they do not become chronic. Get it? The body functions and includes all of those things in order to work. When the body is physically aligned, active, and funtional, it can move through space and manipulate its environment to its best potential. This is not to say that a body must be physically complete, just physically functional to ITS best ability... A person with only one leg or arm can function and easily survive, this person must, however make changes to live easily. Techniques I use in care of pains, aches, injuries and conditions...
