Welcome to a service which provides individualized, outpatient speech and language services for children ages birth to 18.
My name is Trisha Witmer and I am a licensed speech and language pathologist who has specialized in the pediatric population for over 13 years, 10 of those years with Childrens Hospitals and Clinics of MN. I treat children who have diagnoses including cleft lip and palate; autism and PDD; developometnal delays, genetic and neurological disorders; and other medical conditions affecting communication. This may include children who have difficulty understanding and follwing directions; expressing themselves and answering questions; pronouncing words correctly; stuttering; and using a smooth and gentle voice.
You may want to see a speech pathologist if your child is not babbling by 10 months old; speaking about three words by 15 months old; speaking about 50 words or 2-word phrases by 24 months; or cannot be understood by a non-family member by 4 years old.
My office is located on the corner of Marshcall Rd. and 4th Street on the 3rd floor above Valley News.
