Child Care Services, a state licensed facility recently moved to our new location, 2274 E Division St. We have been in business since 2007 as a family home child care facility. It is our desire to be open 24 hours to meet the needs of shift workers and those that require flexible child care arrangements. Our focus is on preparing children for a global economy. Meals meet the USDA nutrition guidelines.
The owner, Melanie Lewis has an associate degree in business management from Harrison college and is currently completing her requirements for the CDA (Child Development Associate). All staff have background checks, physical examinations, and CPR and First Aid training. We accept vouchers and offer subsidized care for those who qualify.
Our child care facility is unique because we service parents who may may need social service referrals and pastoral counseling. In the near future we hope to have parenting classes, life skill workshops to help empower our clients to maintain productive lives.
