I am fortunate, as well as the patient, in that I am well coordinated with my hands. I can do regular and deep scaling without slipping and cutting away pieces of the gum, as is somewhat common place. And, to this point, I have never slipped and cut a person.
Because of the economic situation, that started to develop in December 2007, we chose to freeze our fees at the 2006 level, for the most part -- there are a few exceptions where we just could not maintain the 2006 level.
