- I am a Broker Associate at Century 21 Curbow Realty in Colorado Springs. I generally work during business hours but frequently meet my clients on weekends and after hours in order to meet their busy schedules. My office is located in SW Colorado Springs at HWY 115 and Star Ranch Road. I specialize in residential real estate transactions but love to work with seniors, investors, first time buyers and especially the military. My credentials include certifications in representing buyers and seniors. My service area covers Southern Colorado, the Front Range, the Pikes Peak Region, El Paso County, the Greater Colorado Springs area and Colorado Springs itself. Among the qualities that set me apart from other Realtors© is the fact that I am an Accredited Staging Professional. I enjoy the preparation involved in making a house look and feel like a warm and welcoming home. I never charge for this service. I am a member of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors©, Peak Producers. This group of professionals represents the top 10% of Realtors© in the region. In February 2008, I received my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation. An ABR trained Realtor© demonstrates the highest standard of excellence when representing buyers. The ABR designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors©. Only 3% of all Realtors© in the United States hold this honor. In 2008, I earned my e-PRO designation. This specialized training program equips Realtors© like me to provide top notch internet listing and other web-based services to my clients. As I noted earlier, I received the Accredited Staging Professional designation (ASP). ASP Real Estate Agents are trained under stringent guidelines using time-tested home staging techniques. My most recent achievements include earning my Seniors Real Estate Representative designation. As a SRES Realtor©, I've acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to help my 50+ clients navigate real estate transactions brought about by either voluntary or involuntary life changing circumstances. In 2011, I earned the Master’s Emerald award from Century 21. In 2009 and 2010 I received Century 21’s Pinnacle Quality Service Award. And, I am recognized as El Paso County’s Top Producing Century 21 Agent. These awards are the result of my complete commitment to my clients and their faith and confidence in me. My unique background makes it possible for me to represent both buyers and sellers with ease. My transactions have been evenly divided between the purchase or sale of a home. The insight I bring makes my advice in either scenario sound. It is when I am working with buyers in particular that I, in the buyer’s best interest, am adamant that they know their exit strategy. I will then find the perfect house, meeting my buyer’s needs and fitting either their long or short term goals. A large percentage of the Spring’s population is active duty military. I've developed a strong affinity for working with military personnel. I have an understanding of the special circumstances and the nature of their careers that drive their real estate decisions. My main area of expertise is in investment properties. As an owner of several such properties myself, I have the ability to provide excellent guidance. I can counsel on where the hot rental neighborhoods are and what the market will bear for rent. And, I will tell you with complete confidence that today’s market is a fantastic time to buy! I fit in well with Century 21 Curbow Realty for two reasons: First, because I take care to leverage the many resources available to my clients through the franchise to their advantage. And second, because the office is owned by long-time residents of the Springs and staffed by a team of local experts in the Colorado Springs community, culture and real estate market. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. But, I am also a valued and respected volunteer in support of the small business community and community at large. I have been a member of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, and a Chamber Ambassador, for 13 years. I was named Ambassador of the Year in 2003. I have also been named Ambassador of the Month and Ambassador of the Quarter on multiple occasions. These awards are given by the Chamber to those Ambassador volunteers who have established a record of exemplary volunteerism on behalf of the small business community. I have also served the Chamber as the Military Affairs Coordinator. In additon to my real estate career, I have served as Secretary of her Home Owner’s Association since 2007. In the interest of self-improvement, I have been a member of the Pikes Peak Toastmasters since 2007. I also serve on the Planning Committee in the Koats 4 Kids organization helping to provide warm winter clothing to families and children in need. For me, my family, the health of small business and the economy, and the happiness of the families that make up the myriad neighborhoods of Colorado Springs all get first priority. But, it is my love of real estate and my enthusiasm for matching the perfect home with the perfect buyer and seller that make me an asset to anyone considering buying or selling a home.
