Far Infrared Rays(FIR) refract off Amethyst Quartz Crystals & charge the body with Negative Ions. The combination cleans the blood & cells causing them to revert to a natural alkaline state. Over time, blood & cells become acidic from the amount of pollution we inhale, the toxins we eat & drink & the amount of electro-magnetic fields(EMFs) we are subjected to in our daily lives. These conditions cause our naturally born alkaline basis to become toxic with acid. This causes auto-immune diseases to have a better chance to live & grow within us. Another issue at hand is that many of these diseases won't survive if our core temperatures are at the perfect 98.6 degree temperature. People more often than not do not have the core temp required to remain healthy. The acid state & the lower core temp are the perfect incubator necessary for degenerative diseases to survive.
Use of the Bio-Mat raises our core temperature to the level we were meant to live with. The FIR sinks six to eight inches into our bodies, heating our organs & our spines. Therefore, disease can't grow because it's too warm. Negative Ions clean the blood & cells & rid the body of acid. We return to an alkaline basis & disease isn't able to live there either. The Amethyst crystal refracts the two into all areas of our internal bodies. There is no angle that cannot be touched. The Original Bio-Mat has eight heat settings. The lowest two, 95 & 104, can be used if you should care to sleep on the mat. Anytime the mat is on, you are receiving Negative Ions. If you sleep on your mat, you are cleaning blood & cells throughout the night. The two highest settings, 149 & 158, are Infrared Sauna settings. The mat too can be used as an Infrared Sauna. You can use it to detox & lose weight. The four middle settings, 113, 122, 131, & 140 degrees, are generally used to treat specific ailments.
The heats can be used for multiple purposes. If you are tired & need to renew your energy, lay on a lower temperature, 113 or 122, for ten minutes & you will get up feeling refreshed & capable of taking on your next task. If you need sleep, a higher temp, 131 or 140 can help you relax & drift off easily.

Until just the last few years, Fibromyalgia was considered a "lazy person's disease". People, not even doctors, believed it was real.
