As a custom portrait artist, Portraits By Shay is in it's fourth year of business. As an artist, it is my preference to photograph in such a way that I can concentrate on each individual client and give them the best possible product I can. I'm not into cutting corners or sacrificing quality for speed or volume as franchise or other studios. I concentrate on getting to know you and your child so that it makes for a calm and comfortable environment for the child which will in turn create those natural moments and expressions that you know are real.My style of portraiture is to capture and reflect the true personality of the subject. This is done best with simplicity instead of with lots of props and distracting cheesy backgrounds.
Each session is held either in my relaxing home studio environment, at your home, or on location, whichever you prefer.
