• John Willis, owner of Phoenix Cylinder Service, began his career in the automotive industry in 1979. He gained experience working at all levels from entry to management in seven different automotive facilities. Although, all shops were "import specialists", various techniques and equipment were used to perform a vast array of repairs. Times change and what were the most common brands such as Datsun, M.G., Fiat, Triumph, Air-cooled VW's, and cast iron Toyotas have given way to new brands and new technology. This technology uses smaller train with multiple valves and variable valve timing which requires specialized equipment, procedures and focus. A lot has changed since 1979; what hasn't changed is our dedication to quality and customer service - that's who we are. Since establishing Phoenix Cylinder Head Service in 1995, we've continued to succesfully complete the most difficult repairs ie: welding cracks, erosion, chamber damage/ heat straightening etc., while maintaining a warranty rate well below 1%. We have maintained loyal customer relationships with more than thirty new car dealers, many more independent facilities, as well as hundreds of walk-in customers.
