Front Proch Coffee & Tea Co. is a unique coffee and tea house that opened in the summer of 2005 in downtown Ely. The shop is a remodled residence on the corner of 4th and Sheridan helping to make the ambience home-like and relaxing. We provide regular restaurnt seating as well as couches and soft chairs near a fireplace. The childerns area provides toys, books, puzzles and a kid size table and chairs. And the walls are chalk board free to write on! Of couse, as our name suggests, the wrap around porch offers relaxing seating while you watch the world go by.
Organic, fair trade coffee is our specialty, providing gourmet coffee and espresso drinks along with fruit smoothies, bubble tea and Italian sodas. We have 27 varities of loose leafe tea that are actually served in a pot with a cup and saucer. Our scones and muffins are becoming legendary. We also offer wraps, salads, quiche, soups, and a variety of dessersts.
We offer a retail area specializing in unique tea and coffee items and books by local authors. Art work on the walls promote local artists.
The Front Porch is an internet cafe providing free wireless access. Our four computers may be rented for $ .10 per minute. Printer and fax service are also available.
