DeVore Automotive is a family-owned business, serving San Diego East County residents and businesses since 1979.
Jim DeVore, owner and founder, first got into the automotive service business with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Then in 1979, after eight years of managing stores and serving as a territory representative for Goodyear independent dealers, Jim went out on his own and opened a Goodyear store in El Cajon.
Market conditions started to change in the mid-1990's and Jim realized, that for him to continue in the industry as a full-service automotive center, he would have to offer a broad selection of tire brands and improve the quality of automotive service combined with more convenience. Well, the rest is history with DeVore Automotive evolving into one of the finest-of-its-kind full-service automotive centers.
DeVore Automotive now features the latest diagnostics for newer vehicles; new lifts for large SUVs and light trucks; a state-of-the-art computerized wheel alignment station; and a team of experienced ASE certified technicians, equipped with all the right tools, to work on a wide variety of vehicles.
