- Cimarron Homes is a locally owned and operated builder and developer of new homes and new home neighborhoods. We are based in Durham, NC and are a family owned and operated business. We have been building homes in Durham, Orange, and Alamance Counties for over 30 years. We have built over 3,000 homes in the area. We currently have 4 Neighborhoods in the Mebane, NC area and 3 in the Durham, NC area. We build homes starting in the $120,000.00's to the $400,000.00's. Every home we build is built to the Energy Star Guidelines and the NAHB Green Building Standard. All our homes receive third party certification on both programs. We provide home buyers at all price points the ability to own a well built, affordable, and environmentally responsible home that will save them money not only at the time of purchase but for years to come on utility bills and lowered maintenance cost. We build and offer multiple different types of products to meet many different buyers needs. At this time in Mebane we have 4 neighborhoods. Ashbury, which is a master planned community features several different neighborhoods, builders, and product types featuring a pool, clubhouse, and miles of walking trails.
